- All the Queen's Men: Defeat 5 Hellfire Club soldiers. They can be found in Mission 1. Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: 100 XP
- Castling with Queenside Rook: Complete a Deploy. Deploy heroes to advance through a mission. Requires 10 gold to skip - Note - You can bypass this by using any deployment in PvE Story missions outside Spec Ops #2. Rewards: 1000 Silver
- The World's Social Elite: Defeat 5 Hellfire Elite. They can be found in Mission 1. (Note: Don't do Storm mini-boss fight. Do 1 battle, skip the deployment and once you finish defeating Hellfire Elite, ABORT MISSION and start all over again until you fulfill the requirement 5/5 Hellfire Elite). Time your wins carefully, once you hit 3 or 4/5, on the next run, deploy x 1 deployment only and then you complete 2 and 3 together.Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: 200XP
- The White Queen: Use Emma Frost in Combat. She is a Team-Up in several boss fights. (Note: Do not fight Blob and Mini-Boss, Avalanche together. Fight Avalanche first, upon completing it, this part will be fulfilled). Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: 2000 Silvers

- How I Learned to Stop Worrying...: Research EMP Grenade in the Lab. The EMP Grenade can be researched after acquiring the AIM EMP Grenade Schematics. Research requires 60 UISO-8, 100 silver and 8 hours to complete. (requires 20 gold to skip)
- Invitation Only: Complete 2 stars of mastery in Mission 1. Requires 10 gold to skip Reward: 1 Command Point and 100 XP
- Unstable Containment: Get 10 Unstable Isotope-8. Requires 10 gold to skip Note - You can complete this requirement by just accepting 10 x unstable blue ISO-8 sent to you from allies. Check your inbox and click.
- Breaking the Mold: Defeat 10 Sentinels. They can be found in Mission 2 and has to be completed inside Spec Ops #2. Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: 100XP
- Uncanny X-Men: Take 2 X-Men into battle. Wolverine, Cyclops, Colossus, Kitty Pryde, Nightcrawler, Phoenix, Storm and Emma Frost are all members. - Mind Games: Upgrade Mindbreaker to Mindkiller in the Lab. The Mindkiller can be researched after acquiring the Mindbreaker. Research requires 80 UISO-8, 200 silver and 30 hours to complete. (requires 20 gold to skip) Rewards: 100XP
- Rook, Knight, Bishop: Complete 3 Deploys. Requires 10 gold to skip. Note - Deployments can be applied and completed outside Spec Ops environment, in PvE Story missions.
- More Human Than Human: Defeat Omega Sentinel. She is the Boss of Mission 2. Requires 10 gold to skip Rewards: Mission 3 Unlocked!
- EMP-ulsive Actions: Use 5 EMP Grenades in combat. EMP Grenades can be purchased from the store after researching them. Requires 10 gold to skip Note - 5 x EMP Grenades can be applied and completed outside Spec Ops environment, in PvE Story missions or in PvP. Rewards: 100XP
- Council of the Chosen: Get 2 stars of mastery in Mission 2. Requires 10 gold to skip ☆ Reward: Skullsplitter (Research)
- Skull and Crossbones: Upgrade Skullsplitter to Skullripper in the Lab. The Skullripper can be researched after acquiring the Skullsplitter. Research requires 120 UISO-8, 300 silver and 48 hours to complete. (requires 20 gold to skip) Rewards: 1000 Silver

A smart method around this is to use the consumable, Chrono Accelerator which grants Burst of Speed, taking 2 turns instead of just 1.

They need to give you more Iso or charge less per battle / research holy crap even if all you do is get Iso as your gifts for the day it is gone so fast with 10-20 per deploy or battle (20 for bosses / mini bosses).
you'll find that frost only unlocks through the tasks, 5 stars or not.
Task 24 is for 3 stars so getting 5 stars is a waste of iso's unless you have some left over after frost is unlocked.
They want, that you buy it. But it drops in PVP Battles and normal Story missions.
so if you don't have scarlet witch and phoenix you cannot obtain emma frost???? they also seem to reduce the chance for you to get CPs during this special op
I think they gave us enough iso-8. I only have 3 more tasks to complete and there are over 20 days left, so I don't think we need more than the 50 iso-8/day we get from gifts.

My strategy right now is to first power level my character through PvE since the recommended level for Spec Ops are quite high (when the Spec Ops started my lvl was still 22... far from the recommended of 28-45)... right now I'm lvl 45 and still power lvl'ing to increase my chance of winning the battles in SpecOps while collecting ISOs, dont want to waste my unstable ISOs :O
Also, I finished 15/25 task so far, so I think my pace is good enough to get Emma Frost.. my current worries is the Epic Boss task... since I dont have any of the 3 required heroes for the deployment... *looks at his command points counter showing at... FIVE*... *_*;
I guess when my lvl are high enough, I should go back and storm all earlier chapters for 5-stars eh? :O

A few methods include:
- Beating bosses and Epic bosses and hope the roulette is in your favor and give you command points
- Complete 5 Stars on a PvE mission gives you 5 command points.
- Spend Gold? unlikely choice lol
Same here. The iso-8's are enough for sure. Getting the necessary heroes for deployment in mission 3 is the challenging part.
Complete the netflix offer to get 80 gold if you haven't. Should be enough to convert to CP to get scarlett witch and phoenix.

yes. since mystique is the epic boss in spec ops 2 chapter 3 (final chapter subjected), you need to have 3 characters in your team including colossus, scarlet witch, and phoenix to do the deploy in order to unlock mystique.
hi! i need help! im on the 23 task and i need to get phoenix and scarlet witch, any ideas? :( i only have 22 gold and 1cp, i was thinking to get 25 gold and change it for 50 cp to buy phoenix... i really want emma *sigh* she is perfect!

if you play miniboss and boss together then you have to play only 7 battle and has great chance to win cp.
Can you skip buy paying the 50 gold for task 24 while not having Scarlet Witch or Phoenix on your team and get Emma Frost.

Don't rush, my strategy is to build up my character lvl as fast as I can by taking missions recommended for my lvl or above, I'm on task 24 atm with only the spec ops mission 3 left for the 3 stars and taking my time collecting unstable ISOs while lvl'ing up again
If I, who started the specops on char lvl 28 can get this far (lvl 59 now), I'm sure everyone else can :)

You don't master anything to get her. Minimum requirements:
Complete tasks 1-24
Get Colossus, Scarlet Witch, and Phoenix
Deploy these three
When Mystique shows up, *BANG*
You can get 3 command points for each friend you visit even if u dont get the distress call
and Ivan- u have to do the Tasks IN ORDER..... if you do one before another- it may not count... SOME DO work out of order (like if u get 3 stars in each mission BEFORE that atsk comes up- when that task comes it- it WILL count it...) so SOME are okay to do out of order, but mostly u have to finish one before and go on to the next, in order.....
omg, i didn't know that the deploys are needed to reveal Mystique :( i only have Collossus and zero CP , i cannot recruit Scarlet and Phoenix in 9 days!!! Where do i find CP quickly? :/ i 'm very dissapointed ..
Do mission 1-1 repeatedly, its the shortest mission with only 3 battle (including boss) that gives you CP drop chance.
If you can save up to 50 Gold, its another way, skip the last task for 50 Gold and you'll get emma :)

Hey Mark, I recruited Scarlet Witch earning free gold with the promotions of the game, is totally legal. I earned 80 gold using that :D, but I don't know if that is in every country :/

I think that is not the only way :P
The important thing is using consumables and keeping your team as healty as possible every round, and take care of bleedings (I hate bleed)

A bit of crucial info, the battle with EB Mystique is 3 stages, you only need to defeat her in one of the stages and even if you fail the whole EB battle, you'll still get her. I defeated mystique 1st and 2nd stage and then my team got defeated before 3rd stage starts, and the quest still register as completed!!!

Mystique appears when you complete the deploys, Phoenix is one of the deploys.
The other way is with gold.
When you are in the 'buy gold' screen in the bottom-right corner there is a "earn gold" button

Can't be manually used. It counters every single target attack that you receive. That's why the knight gives you team oritection, to steal attacks.
