it is never 100% chance. It is just that you have higher chance of securing ice shard if your deploy mission requires you to use specific heroes or classes as compared to the one that utilise any heroes

Playdom has really messed this one up, to recruit Iceman you need to replay mission three 4 separate times to defeat each horseman. I hope the daily reward is kind to everybody or else be prepared to spend some gold.

I really think its ridiculous that every spec ops mission, it seems the needed heroes are always the ones that cost the most in command points making it practically impossible to even finish all the tasks and get the spec ops hero.

No kidding, I think that is the reason that PVP was awarding CP for the first 5 victories because they knew that the player would spend them in Spec Ops. I would rather spend 25 gold bars and save my CP for Agent Venom and Domino.
im glad a lot of people are starting to see what ive been bitching about for the last year. once this game became extremely popular they stopped being generous. when I first started playin you go CP constantly, now your lucky to get 1 on boss drops. and one you reach level 300 you stop earning gold. playdom got greedy because players got stupid

Guys, let's explore what will be the best combination to get team up bonus for the strike team?. The highest bonus so far i've tried is Scarlett witch + quick silver + Angel (350 extra points). Any other combinations?
And the getting discount gold is not even available in my country haha

When I attempted to do deployments outside of the special op for the credit, it did not register them in the task. I ultimately decided that I needed to do the deploys anyway to try and get shards so I just did them in the special op. I did three deploys outside of the special op before it I flipped over to see if it was a glitch. I had a friend who had the same issue.

There are several tasks that can be done outside of special ops, for example after researching the weapons you can use them in regular chapters to conserve Iso-8 unless you are in the middle of a chapter than there is no point however to accomplish this quicker you can play a regular chapter on easy which is a one hit kill but this is only my opinion.

you need replay the second mission and create the new two strike teams to make war and famine missions. in mission 3, you need 4 strike team

@BloodHunter90hey bro I completed that successfully yesterday, Im telling ya: 1st wave is the toughest, tryna beat Beast first, my team is Agent Scrapper + Wolverine + Strange, then take down Rogue and Apocalyse, 2nd wave is not that hard, and Apocalyse is only a bit powerful at last wave, just keep full health when finishing the battle and 100k points comes in

I'm getting owned by Pestilence, any advice? I'm getting killed between the debuffs, stare of the abyss, nanoplague, burning, contagion countdown. And my scroll of the vistanti doesn't take away debuffs because of beast. I go into the 2nd round strong, but I haven't killed anyone in it on several play throughs.
When defeating the 4 horsemen in the side quest for iceman's alt. uniforms, can we defeat each of them separately in mission 4 or do we have to replay all 4 parts of mission 3?
Is there a trick in getting shards? (pattern or something) Having trouble getting them despite the "Better chance to get a shard in a named/class spin". Have 3 stars in all levels been through them all twice, working on 3rd run through mission 3 and have just 4 shards out of a possible 24 (don't have the first 3 named deploys yet). And if I get them all still have to run through and try to beat all the horsemen. Good luck on that 95k vs Pestilence. And who knows vs Apocalypse.
@Kevin Wright use many defense itens, like chrono accelerator and recharge energy every round. Wolverine and Deadpool are very effetive against pestilence.

the character horseman of pestilence this very powerful should remove the ability paradise because even without it he and strong and with him and the weapons of the apocalypse will surpasses all other weapons mainly mistic you guys changed it to instead prevent negative stat he now only healing.

I eliminated Beast in a 1 on 1 first and then got 119,000 against Apocalypse and the remaining horsemen easily.
yes and yes Robles, and its only lvl 11 , filled with 4 reactive robust iso, 2 reactive athletic and 1 reactive focused.....great damage from first hit...i eliminate pestilence before hit...

When I try to complete Task 19: Defeat Death. I get to Mystique and Cable is required. It says he is deployed elsewhere, but he isn't deployed anywhere. Anyone have any ideas?

With Blaster Agent, Bruiser Iron Fist and B&T Wolverine...I defeated Apocalypse pretty easily still the Score was 99450/100000..WTF?
Ended in full health and had overkills..
Vitality 500 Overkills 260 Round 0 Victory 90 Body Count 500 Newly Assembled 50 SM x3 and ToaKx15...totals to 99450...aaargghhh
The 4 tasks do defeat each of the 4 horsemen can NOT be done in mission 4. It does not count . The have to be defeated in Mission 3 when they are the Boss not a miniboss (which is what they are in Mission 4).

yes, it gives him to you, as does any Spec Ops hero...different from the other heroes such as sunfire or squirrel girl, where you finish tasks and they become available to purchase.

beat beast on his own and then go into the boss battle. still three waves but only rogue, W-X and Iceman as mini bosses. heal all health and stamina before stricking the last blow on wave 3 Apoc. I used storm and Omega and got 105K without beast in the battle.
