Fans of "Marvel: Avengers Alliance" have cause to celebrate, as the hit Facebook game will soon see a number of updates as the story begins a whole new phase!
"Marvel: Avengers Alliance" Season 2 teaser
We've got a special teaser image hinting at what lies ahead in Season 2, and to get even more info on what this means we went straight to the source with one of the game's producers, Justin Woods!
"'Marvel: Avengers Alliance' has been wildly successful and players love the missions the way we built them," remarks Woods. "When we set out to figure out what Season 2 would mean, we wanted to find a way to enhance and add to the game players really loved. We think that when you see Season 2 it will be both familiar and fresh at the same time, and we're really excited about that.
"Along with all of the new heroes and villains you'll see this Season, you're also going to experience new gameplay in the Missions. We're also making more enhancements to existing areas of the game than we have ever done in any other patch."
But fear not--if you're one of the fans already immersed in the world of "Marvel: Avengers Alliance," you won't miss a thing as the game transitions into the new Sesason.
"Rest assured that while a new experience is just around the corner, you will not lose any of your progress in Season 1, currently called 'Story,'" confirms Woods.

Selene (Black Queen) vs Namor (Phoenix Five)
Namor takes it upon himself to take out Selene for crimes against mutants. He tracks her down to the Mayan ruins in Belize. Selene welcomes the challenge because a Phoenix-powered character would allow her to sustain her life force for eternity. No blitzing or BFR.
