I got 5 duplicates. I was lucky because i used 2 single lockboxes and got 2 comics i needed ^^...
@ All: I still got the question if it's useful to collect more lockboxes and use them on future collections - if thats possible.

these are actually quite easy to do. forget about all those lockboxes and crap. its easier skip the green goblin with 25 gold if u cant afford the cp for those charterers. the only problem is the 50 iso 8 a day limit. its impossble to beart the game with that litle rate unless u get alot of force drops for it, and u lucky enough to start your daily reward with 100 to 1000. other than that its not gonna happen
magneto is wack anyway, but getting havoc is pretty easy to do with 25 gold at the most spent..
@Huzaifa: Iorn Man (Level 8), Hawk Eye (Level 6), She Hulk ( Level 6), Black widow (Level 4) - I lost all the ISOs playing drogoness. Any help? Do I need to recruit more heroes? I don't have much command points. My agent is still at level 19.

doing mission 24 and soon gonna get havok, will use 25 golds for last mission.
got 6 covers, only 2 left. question here, stuck at side quest 5, if use 40 golds complete it, then complete side quest 6 with 4 stars, then I will get total of 48 lockboxes. how about use 20 golds to buy lockboxes to try on luck?
Leo. you always try on luck, the chances doesn't change. I completed the collection just with boxes from deploys and bosses (and the epic from the 2nd mission, fight wich gave me 12 boxes two times in a row). Try not wasting your gold, unless you have lots to spare.
Praveen. keep it up, you still have time. I had 6 for a while, then i obtained the other two in a single day, by playing a lot and open as many groups of ten boxes as i could.
cdsbatam. remember that you have to complete the deploy, that is collect the prices, if you cant, you may have made a two birds after sending a deploy of two battles and the deploy may not be complete, so you have to abort the deploys and start the mission again :(
all hero for epic bosses recruited, at mission 23, side quest is now mission 6. has 61 cp, 62 gold. all mission now 3 stars. :D
some hints for farming cp
every critical hit is count, so use weapon that have multiple hit and hi-crit, like nanite inductive, sa ambush. etc.
same as hero, use hero that generate multiple hit and hi-crit, SW with her 1st skill, gambit, with his 3rd/4th skill. etc.
i just got 15 cps from mission 4-4. 5 from boss, 10 from magneto.
and the final score is count to. the higher the score the higher the precentage of getting cp.
Hardie: That's Awesome advice for real. I've read a lot about 4.4 just haven't gotten around to it, even though I just hit 100lvl :op As for status, I'm at 17 or 25, the M-Series, I should be able to do that if I skip deploys for a minute. Waiting till this afternoon to get a credits card to buy DP LOL. As for side quest, I'm at 3 of 6 the Living Pharaoh. For those not sure how to get him, combine your mini-bosses don't take them on separately and of course use NC and Phoenix for those deploys. This technique of combining mini-bosses/bosses is usually the way to get the epic boss to come out in any mission that has an epic boss. Other great peace of advice, IF your buying gold, GOTO gamestop only and get the OFFICIAL Facebook gift cards there in blue or gray, because you can get extra stuff with them AND you might get extra Facebook credits towards using to buy gold. IE/for example Buy a $10 card and redeem the code. Then after that click on say the $2.00 dollar for 8 gold deal afterward. You might be surprised to see you had left over facebook credits. :o)
As for techniques for ISO-8 drops, get critical hits with multiple hits like ^Hardie^ said, But BE ADVISED you can get only ONE Item per mission no matter what mission it is. IE only ONE ISO-8 will drop per mission, if it drops and that goes for anything that could drop.
Outside of that, some general advice for PVP, I recommend Spider-Man Fantastic Four Uniform Scrapper, Jean Grey White Phoenix Uniform Infiltrator.
Then for the AGENT get the Commander Generalist Trench coat with all White all stat crystals in all eight slots. With either the following weapons:
Hoarfrost Mace or The Knight
Nanite Inductive Nail Gun or a Shield Weapon that has counter effects if possible to compensate for the first two.
Wave-Nullifier (Hopefully you got that) or Das Boot
THIS Last one is tough to decide on, either
Cat's Claw or Sonic Fist or Coulson's Revenge.
Now if you don't have the specialty weapons, Try combinations like the Omni-Fury and Crystal Shiv is really good to get. The Grecian Sai, Sabre Tooth's Claw, Feral Claw and the Omni-Fury is nice. Just keep combinations like that in mind to win PVP.
But as for partners I totally recommend Spider-Man Fantasic Four Uniform 1st Scrapper / 2nd Infiltrator and Jean Grey/Phoenix with White Phoenix Uniform 1st Infiltrator / 2nd Blaster.
Here's why, With Spider Man you stack evasion buffs quick for every single attack.
With Jean Grey/Phoenix you can resurrect multiple times, your debuffs can be removed and the enemy's buffs can be removed.

andre, it has to be in spec ops, in the havok tasks it costs 25 gold, if you are looking at the side tasks (those wich give lockboxes) the same specific action (defeat green goblin) it cost 40 gold.

Andre, you only need the covers, it's faster collecting lockboxes by completing the side tasks, but can fight bosses, and epic, which along with the deploys gives a fair amount of boxes. Hurry up!
(Never open them one by one, unless you already have magneto)
For those trying to unlock Magneto with lock boxes try this. Collect your lock boxes, then complete any quest. Then open JUST Ten. Then rinse and repeat. I've done this and it worked. I found out about it on Marvel: Alliance Facebook Page by Jim.
Next thing, as for tricking the quests involving Green Goblin, you have to take him out in Spec Ops.
To get CP go to 2.3 or 4.4 and do everything in the mission but once you take out the epic map STOP there. DO NOT click on Exit Map, instead click on PVP or Flight Deck. Go back to 2.3 or 4.4 and click abandon. Here's why, doing the mission will be easier and not at your level. Also you will be more likely to get CP from the roulette if you have 4 stars in a mission NOT 5.
If you need ISO, do PVP matches. Your more than likely to get one there with multi-hit attacks with ex. Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, Invisible Woman etc. Plus you can let your energy refill.
For the M-Series Sentinels quest stick to the Spec Ops 6 mission 3 for those. If you try elsewhere it wont count.
For the Brotherhood quest you can do that outside of the Spec Ops Missions.

Probably need to beat one of the bosses and clear one of the missions of Op 6.
This resets the random counter for the magazines.
It seemed to work for me.

Will Magneto be available to purchase with CP or Gold later? I don't wanna spend my gold on lockboxes and not end up getting him. I'd rather just buy him outright.
Are we serious with Master of Magnetism crap. Thought if you complete side quests you get Magneto, but found out that is not true. Opened all my boxes (only need 1 more cover) got 5 of the same in a row.

You might want to beat the boss on one of the Sec Ops as this resets the books.
I did spend 20 golds to buy more lock boxes and finally got the last one on my last set of 10.

completed all 6 tasks and got 32 lockboxes, then used 20 gold and out of 5 covers, 4 were duplicates. now with 1 day left and still needing 2 covers, its close to impossible to get it :(

100 lockboxes just got 6 different cover, 4 others are duplicate, so say goodbye to Magneto, I don't bealive playdom do this to me.
I've got 6 covers and about 10 duplicates- talk about a waste of time
