Important Change:
Captain America PassiveCaptain America Passive Change; no longer has Lead the Charge, now has Defensive Stance. Inspiring leadership now applies at the start of turn (regardless of whose turn it is) Dr. Stephen Strange finally gets new clothingDr Strange's Modern outfit released, new passives added.Blaster (21CP), Tactician (32CP)



List of changes from 11/13: Changes to gameplay:
  • PVP (Player versus Player)
    • Season 2 is now released!
    • New league requirements & rewards:
      • Silver: 1 ranked attack, all participants qualify .......... [ 100,000 silver ]
      • Gold: 10 ranked attacks, rank in top 35% ............... [ 10 gold ]
      • Diamond: 30 ranked attacks, rank in top 15% .......... [ Nanite Inductive Nailgun ]
      • Vibranium: 60 ranked attacks, rank in top 3% .......... [ Blueprint: Scrapper's Power Armor ]
      • Adamantium: 100 ranked attacks, rank in top .5%..... [ Hero: Cable ]
    • AI changes:
      • Modern Thor now uses Summon Thunder on his first turn.
      • Scarlet Witch now uses Hex Spheres on her first turn.
  • PVE (Player versus Environment)
    • Bane (Debuff) no longer stacks.
    • Psychic Attacks no longer trigger Tingling Sensation (Passive) and similar abilities.

Changes to weapons/gadgets/items:
  • Power of Four:
    • Starts with a cooldown
    • Stamina Cost increased from 8% to 18%
  • Fury:
    • Stamina Cost reduced from 20% to 18%
    • Damage slightly increased
      • maxDmgFlat: 0.77 -> 0.904
      • minDmgFlat: 0.642 -> 0.753
  • Hotshot:
    • Stamina Cost reduced from 20% to 15%
    • Damage slightly reduced
      • maxDmgFlat: 0.553 -> 0.481
      • minDmgFlat: 0.461 -> 0.401
  • Grief:
    • No longer have Stealthy
    • Can no longer be used multiple times in the same round
    • Damage reduced
      • maxDmgFlat: 0.817 -> 0.599
      • minDmgFlat: 0.681 -> 0.499
  • Chrono Overdrive
    • Damage reduced from 200% -> 150%
    • Buff changed to "Dealing extra damage on next attck".
    • Chrono Overdrive’s damage bonus is now consumed on the next attack, and no longer removed if the Agent fails to attack immediately after using it (such as by recharging)
    • Stamina Cost increased from 12% to 15%
  • Quantum Jumper:
    • No longer affects Agent. Buff changed to affect other allies only.
  • Sinister Scepter:
    • Astral Form (Phased buff) now grants a bonus to damage (+50%) on the next attack
    • Astral Form is removed after the next attack
    • Sinister Sceptre now has a 100% chance to apply Astral Form
  • Ruby Quartz Rifle & M1911 Patriot:
    • Now correctly tagged as ranged attack
  • Silvermane Silver Lighter: added to game. (904ATK/452DEF, pvp bonus item)

 Changes to heroes/characters:
  • Black Panther:
    • Woven Vibranium can now trigger on counter-attacks
    • Panther Stance (L6) now changed to Quick Action.
    • Captain America: No longer has Lead the Charge (Passive).Given a new passive, Defensive Stance (Passive).Inspiring Leadership (Passive) now applies at the start of turn (regardless of whose turn it is).Shield Guard no longer has the chance to avoid attacks.
    • Deadpool:
      • Happy to See You (L9)
        • Number of Hit changed from 1 -> 3
        • maxDmg changed from 1.111 -> 0.37
        • minDmg changed from .741 ->.247
    • Dr. Strange:
      • Modern outfit released. Blaster (21 CP), Tactician (32 CP).
      • New Passives added to both original outfit as well as his alternative outfit
      • Bolt of Balthakk (L1):
        • Now have Mystic Energy effect (Restores stamina each turn)
        • Stamina Cost increased from 8% -> 15%
        • maxDmg increased from 0.884 -> 1.047
        • minDmg increased from 0.737 -> 0.873
      • Teresing Boost (L2):
        • Stamina Cost increased from 15% -> 18%
    • Emma Frost: Diamond Body (Passive) no longer removes debuffs. War Diamond (L2) also no longer removes debuffs. Mental Scarring (Buff) is now applied when no actions are taken, preventing chain applications of Mental Anguish (Debuff).Initially counters with Psychic Tap (Lv1), but counters with War Diamond (Lv2) if the attacker has Mental Scarring (Buff).
    • Iron Fist:
      • Heart of Shou-Lao (L9)
        • Now changed to Quick Action with 1 turn Cooldown
        • Buff increased from 5% to 17%
        • Can be stacked 10 times
        • Stamina Cost reduced from 10% -> 5%
    • Mockingbird: Tactical Insight (Passive) can now only proc once per round.Mock Combat (Passive) is no longer triggered by Counter Attacks.
    • Phoenix:
      • Mind Link (L6)
        • Now changed to last 3 rounds
      • Phoenix Fire (L9)
        • Now inflicts Soulfire instead of Burning.
        • No longer drains all staminas when used. Stamina Cost: 40%
        • Damage slightly decreased
          • maxDmg from 1.252 -> 0.973
          • minDmg from 0.782 -> 0.608
    • Quicksilver:
      • Tag Team (L2)
        • Number of Hit changed from 6 -> 4
        • maxDmg changed from 0.062 -> 0.093
        • minDmg changed from 0.052 -> 0.077
    •  Spider-Woman:
      • Vengeance (L6)
        • Now changed to Quick Action
      • Fear Pheromone (L9)
        • Hit rate now 100%
        • Stamina Cost reduced from 20% -> 10%
    • Storm: Blizzard (L6) range changed from All to All Enemies. So, no longer friendly fire
    • War Machine: Mini-gun Barrage (L6) no longer starts off with a cooldown.
    • Cable: Added to game.




    • PVP Season 2 now live!
    • Grief no longer 'Stealthy'
    • Iron Fist's Heart of Shou-Lao(L9) now Quick Action
    • Black Panther's Panther Stance(L6) now Quick Action
    • Emma Frost's Passive changed. No longer removes debuffs. Her War Diamond (L2) also no longer removes debuffs

    • Mockingbird's Tactical Insight only triggers once per round now, 'Mock Combat' no longer triggered by Counter Attacks
    • Power of 4 starts off cooled down
    • Captain America Passive Change; no longer has Lead the Charge, now has Defensive Stance. Inspiring leadership now applies at the start of turn (regardless of whose turn it is)
    • Quantum Jumper no longer gives the Agent an extra turn
    • Spider Woman's L6 now quick action
    • Deadpool bugs/info
      1. Deadpool's No Holds Barred (L6) does not remove debuffs
    • Ghost Rider bugs/info
      1. His Penance Stare(L2) consumes all stacks of Sin on all enemies and not just primary target; unsure if the extra Sin stacks consumed from non-primary targets add damage to primary target
      2. Not properly gaining stacks of Vengeance from his Burn Out's(L9) Spirit of Vengeance if he kills targets; he only gains them from alive enemies with Sin
      3. His Burn Out(L9) stacks cumulatively; if he has 5 stacks when the CD expires and he re-uses it when enemies have 10 stacks of Sin, he will have 15 stacks
    • Buffs now indicate if they are ending the following turn and also indicate if they start the battle on cool down
    • They seem to be toying around with the turns/round structure again. So combat expertise(for Beast) lasts till the end of the next round. All debuffs/buffs seem to last x number of rounds now, while stun still expires at the end of a turn.
    • Sacrificial Blade (SO4-1 boss drop) also removes all stacks of bleeding after 1 attack
    • Issues with Future Foundation outfits not triggering Future Countdown anymore
    • New drops from visiting allies during this period (Toothbrush, Taffy, Candy Apple) has ended, they no longer drop
    • Focal Plasma Cannon (Reward from placing in Diamond League), plasma focus stacks to a maximum of 5
    • Display error for Customized weapons (See below entry under patch DTD 10/26/12)
    • Deadpool has had his damage re-tuned; L1 damage slightly reduced, L2 damage increased, L6 damage reduced, L9 damage significantly reduced[Awaiting verification and actual % retune figures]
    • Required hero specific deploys for SO4 to unlock epic boss Dormammu(SO4-2) - Quicksilver(48CP), Hercules(90CP), Gambit(90CP), Daredevil(48CP); total: 276CP
    • Infernal Fang(Blueprint given after task 5 in SO4); Researchable consumable costs 2g each ***ADVISE WAITING BEFORE SLOTTING THEM IN ARMORY
      1. 5 required for task 18 in SO4 (Please note you only get credit for fangs received when you reach Task 18, not before)
      2. 30 required for Grief research if you obtain Frozen Hell (Optional)
    • The damage bonuses from Chrono Overdrive, Quantum Capacitor, and Arc Reactor Charge no longer stack, please note ARCs still stack with themselves
    • Excelsior customized weapons (Chapter 9) not being obtained at +5 current level, but rather obtained at current level
    • Mission 9-6, Rings of Balthak (Dr Strange Premium drop) only present in normal mode, not Excelsior
    • Hercules bugs/info
      1. Blessing of Olympus - Makes all hits guaranteed critical hits, heals 10% of Hercules health each turn (Please note to trigger this he needs to have ALL 4 buffs) - Gives the critical hit component to Hercules, but also to everyone else on the field including enemies. Constantly refreshes all 4 buffs every turn it is in effect
      2. Son of Zeus - Does not appear to be taking noticeably less damage nor doing increasingly more damage
      3. Pankration Pummel(L1)'s Cerebus Bite melee damage reduction does not seem to be reducing damage noticeably
      4. Rock of Ages(L6)'s Wound of Cerynitis ranged damage reduction does not seem to be reducing damage noticeably
    • Melt Armor debuff does is not functional
    • Soulfire's remove buff is not functional

    Anyone find the season 2 of PVP extremely tough? I keep getting destroyed

    Yes, its getting harder, I find that most of the time when I Fight, I get opponent with higher bonus and over stats than me...

    Try defending mode guys, get the best team setup/pair, and let it rest, I'm getting lucky so far, bumped me to DIAMOND league with being passive, seriously :-)

    BTW... Anyone noticed that there's something different with MOCKINGBIRD at the recruit page?

    I'm referring to this:

    playdom afraid of ppl losing interest with MAA because only the "first generation" players have mockingbird? ;-)
