IMPORTANT NOTES: 

• The only way to recruit Vision is to complete the list of Tasks. 15 Star Mastery of the Special Operation will NOT unlock Vision. 
• One of the Tasks requires the defeat of an Epic Boss. This can be done by having the requirements needed to unlock the Epic Boss, or by skipping the task by paying 25 Gold icon Gold. The requirements are:
•     Completing all threats.
•     Recruiting Black Knight, Captain Britain and Psylocke. 
•     These heroes require 315 Command point icon Command Points in total. 
•     Finishing Deploys immediately as soon as they appear.

Ultron Stats:
Ultron comes in any Class.

Goal:
You'll need to hurt him to certain Percentage to get yourself a Lockbox/Ultron Roulette


EARN LOCKBOXES
Earn 1 Lockbox for doing 10% or more damage to Ultron during a single fight. Note that whether or not you reach the goal, the new goal in your next fight will always be 10% from where you started THAT fight.
When Ultron is defeated, everyone who contributed to that Ultron’s defeat earns 4 Omega Lockboxes.
“Technologic” Side Quests - Earn Omega Lockboxes for accomplishing side quest goals during Spec Op 8.
Omega Lockboxes can also be found in Boss reward galas.


Details: 
This special op has put a new method of Lockbox collection into play, that of the Group Boss. Group bosses are very fun, and a nice way to help your friends. But let's take a minute to discuss proper Ultron etiquette, so that you and your friends can maximize your lockboxes. If everyone practices Safe Ultron, then everyone benefits.
You will get an Ultron to fight. You will fight him for three rounds and he will flee. He will then be available for some of your friends to fight. He will also be available for you to fight for another 10 energy and 20 UISO. And, as far as I know at this time, once defeated, he will not reappear for 72 hours from when you started him.

As I understand the mechanism, when your friends beat him to nothing, you get a ally reward on your special op map that will give you four lockboxes. When you accept this reward, your helpers also get ally rewards for 4 lockboxes. Very cool. As long as your 4 boxes for your Ultron Reward remain unclaimed, your Ultron remains active and available for your allies, starting with 1% health.

As a result, I recommend that you NOT collect your personal Ultron goodies as soon as they are available. Give your friends a full 24 hours to pound on your Ultron. Take care of yourself and make sure you don't let your Ultron goodies expire, but give your friends a chance to reap the rewards by leaving your Ultron up for a longer period.

If it takes two friends to kill your Ultron, the total payout is 15 Lockboxes to you and your friends. IF, on the other hand, you leave your Ultron for a day and 3 more people come and hit your Ultron, your payout is still 5 Lockboxes, but the total payout jumps to 27 Lockboxes. Now, assume your 5 friends do the same thing. You put 10%+ damage on two of your friends, and get 1% damage on the other three... your total payout is 27 Lockboxes. If your friends do not follow this proposed course of etiquette, your total payout will be 15 Lockboxes.

Since EVERYONE wants the extra 12 lockboxes in this simplified version of the real world, EVERYONE should be able to abide by proper Ultron Etiqutte. Pass it on. (Potkettleblack - Wikia)

Tips:
Don't kill your allies Ultron. Just finish ur Percentage, get one Lockbox/Ultron Roulette and loose the battle. So others gets a chance to battle him again.

 Special Operation # 08 (Spec Ops 8) Task List:

1. Soldier On

• Defeat 5 R.A.I.D. Soldiers
  • R.A.I.D. is a terrorist splinter group of A.I.M. Their soldiers can be found in Mission 1: Industrial Revolution.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 100 XP

2. Door to Door

• Complete a Deploy
  • Deploy heroes to advance through a mission. Deploys reward items and powerups.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 1000 Silver
• HINT: Deploys can be completed in regular missions.

3. The B-List

• Defeat a Mini-Boss in Mission 1
  • Defeat either Hydro-Man or Vulture in Mission 1 to complete this quest.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 200 XP for the Agent

4. Powerful Armor

• Defeat 3 Exoskeletal Battletanks
  • Exoskeletal Battletanks are piloted, heavily-armed robotic vehicles. They can be found in Mission 1: Industrial Revolution.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 1 command point
• There are ONLY 4 in this Mission!

5. Vision of Perfection

• Defeat Vision
  • Vision is the Boss of Mission 1: Industrial Revolution.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 100 XP

6. Handyman

• Research the Android Hand in the Lab
  • Research the Android Hand to complete this task.
  • 8 hour research duration
• Requires 20 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: Unlocks Android Hand in the Store. Pre-requisite to research Lightning Needle.

7. Ultimate

• Complete a Battle with Ultron
  • Ultron can be found on the current Spec Op map.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 10 Omega Lockboxes
• HINT:  This is new type of boss fight.  Supplies, Distress Calls, and Combat Store are disabled during battle.  Whatever chapter is currently in progress, Ultron will appear. After two rounds he has a chance to flee.  His class randomly changes in every battle.  Keep your eye on your stamina, and use your bonus attack to recharge.  You have three days before he leaves your map. When this happens, the new Ultron incarnation will start back at 100% health.

8. Ignoble Gas

• Defeat Vapor and Vector
  • Vapor and Vector are the Mini-Bosses in Mission 2: Spare Parts.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 1000 silver
• HINT: This cannot be done in regular missions.
• HINT: Completing task 9 before doing this will save you time.
• HINT: Complete this without doing 3-bird; otherwise, you'll have to restart the mission to fight X-Ray for task 13.

9. Mission Accomplished

• Get 2 Stars of Mastery in Mission 1
  • Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score. Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 2000 silver

10. Shadow Boxing

• Use Quicksilver's Blinding Punches 5 Times
  • Blinding Punches is Quicksilver's first ability. Quicksilver is a Team-Up in Spec Op 8 Mission 2.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 100 XP and the Pym-Grown Needle
• HINT: This can be done in regular missions or PvP battles.
• HINT: CANNOT be done in Ultron battle.

11. Pym Power

• Upgrade Pym-Grown Needle to Lightning Needle in the Lab
  • The Lightning Needle can be researched after acquiring the Pym-Grown Needle.
• Requires 20 gold to auto-finish
• Hint : requires 80 uiso and takes 24 hrs to finish

12. Versus

• Fight 5 PVP Battles
  • Compete in PVP to test your skills against other players. Hint: Practice matches count as battles.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: ?
• HINT: If you are banned in PVP, you must skip this task.
• HINT: Practice matches count as battles.

13. Think Pink

• Defeat X-Ray
  • X-Ray is a Boss of Mission 2: Spare Parts.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 100 silver. 
• HINT: Defeating X-Ray in regular missions DOES NOT count towards this task.

14. Ready, A.I.M.? Fire!

• Defeat 15 A.I.M. Soldiers
  • A.I.M. is a group of fanatical scientists bent on ruling the world through technology. Their soldiers can be found in Mission 2: Spare Parts.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 100xp
• HINT: A.I.M. soldiers found in regular missions DO NOT count toward the total.

15. Attack of the Clones

• Visit 3 Friends and Fight Ultron
  • Help out your friends by fighting Ultron and you'll earn silver and lockboxes.
• Requires 20 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 100 XP  & Volt-Caster

16. Omega Factor

• Upgrade the Volt-Caster to the Vajra in the Lab
  • The Vajra can be researched after acquiring the Volt-Caster.
• Requires 20 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 1000 Silver  & Vajra

17. Past Their Prime

• Defeat 8 Prime Sentinels
  • Prime Sentinels are cyborgs, combining human cunning with Sentinel technology. They can be found in Mission 3: Ultron-Violence.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 100 XP
• HINT: Mission 3 has only 7 Prime Sentinels.  To avoid running it twice, start the mission and fight 1 Prime Sentinel, then abandon the mission and start it over. 

18. Binary System

• Get 2 Stars of Mastery in Mission 2
  • Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score. Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!
• Requires 20 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 3000 Silver

19. Sunburst

• Use Vision's Solar Jewel 3 Times
  • Solar Jewel is Vision's fourth ability in his Infiltrator form. Vision (with all of his abilities) is a Team-Up in Spec Op 8 Mission 3.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 100XP

20. Victory

• Win 3 PVP Battles
  • Compete in PVP to test your skills against other players. Hint: Practice matches count as battles.
• Requires 30 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 100XP
• HINT: Practice matches count as battles.

21. Donating Plasma

• Use Omega Sentinel's Plasma Knife 5 Times
  • Plasma Knife is Omega Sentinel's first ability in her Scrapper form. Omega Sentinel is a Team-Up in Spec Op 8 Mission 3.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 100 XP

22. Locked On

• Collect 5 Omega Lockboxes
  • Collect Omega Lockboxes to unlock Omega Sentinel as a playable hero. They can be earned from fighting Ultron or lockbox sidequests.
• Requires 20 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 1cp
• Hint: It is cheaper to purchase the lockboxes with 5 gold.

Hints

• ​Instead of spending 30 gold to skip this task, it is more efficent to buy the lockboxes for 5 gold.

23. Prime Time

• Defeat Ultron Prime
  • Ultron Prime is the Boss of Mission 3: Ultron-Violence.
• Requires 10 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 100 XP

24. Special Operative

• Complete 3 Stars of Mastery in all Spec Op 8 Missions
  • Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score. Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!
• Requires 25 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 5000 Silver

25. Master of Mischief

• Defeat Loki
  • Loki is the Epic Boss in Mission 1: Industrial Revolution. HINT: Participate in Deploys as soon as they appear.
• Requires 25 gold to auto-finish
• Reward: 1 CP (And Vision)

• The required heroes are Psylocke, Captain Britain, and Black Knight, a total of 315 CP to recruit.

Completing these tasks will result in Omega Lockbox rewards, and are available after completing Task 7 - Ultimate.

3. Xs and Os

• Defeat 5 Exoskeletal Battletanks
  • Exoskeletal Battletanks appear in both Mission 1 and Mission 2.
• 50 Gold to skip
• Reward: 24 Lockboxes
• HINT: Exoskeletal Battletanks found in regular missions do not count toward the total.

4. Mechanical Animals

• Defeat 15 Spec Op 8 Robots
  • Sentinels and Servoguards are found in Mission 3.
• 30 Gold to skip
• Reward: 12 Lockboxes
• HINT: Sentinels and Servoguards found in regular missions DO NOT count toward the total..

5. Laufeyson

• Defeat Loki
  • Loki is the Epic Boss in Mission 1. HINT: Participate in Deploys as soon as they appear.
• 50 Gold to skip
• Reward: 24 Lockboxes
• HINT: If you do not intend to do the next task, trading 50 gold for 50 Lockboxes would be better than skipping this task.
• HINT: Try doing this with task 25 to save Unstable Iso-8.

6. Completionist

• Complete 4 Stars of Mastery in all Spec Ops 8 Missions
  • Complete missions to add points to your cumulative score. Achieve a high enough score to earn a new Mastery Star!
• 100 Gold to skip
• Reward: 48 Lockboxes 
• Hint: It is better to exchange 100 gold for 100 lockboxes than to skip at an exchange of 100 gold for only 48.
